Dear Filmmaker,

Thank you for submitting your film to the Palm Springs International Festival of Short Films. Festival programmers viewed over 2000 submitted films. Of that number 265 will be screened. While your film was not selected for screening, your film automatically becomes a part of our Film Market that runs throughout the festival, September 16-22, 2003. There is no charge to you for inclusion in the Market.

Please complete the attached Market Registration Form and return by fax or email no later than September 2, 2003. Industry representatives and filmmakers have access to the Market, however, buyers, distributors, producers and sales agents are given viewing preference. Your film will be listed in the Market Catalogue.

We hope that you will take advantage of all the opportunities the Market Place has to offer:

* Opportunity for you to network with other filmmakers and industry professionals

* Find out what you always wanted to know through our "one on one" sessions with some of the top leaders in world of film

Here are two additional ways for you to take advantage of these opportunities:

1) As a filmmaker who submitted to the festival, you are entitled to a free Market Badge that gives you access to the marketplace and hospitality suite, a ticket to the filmmaker parties on Friday, September 19 and Saturday, September 20, a ticket to the Awards ceremony on Sunday, September 21, plus two film screening tickets. There is no cost to you for any of this. 2) You may choose to purchase an Industry Pass that allows you to see the 43 scheduled programs featuring nearly 300 films and panel discussions. This pass, if purchased by September 16, is only $120.00. If purchased during the Festival the cost will be $175.00.

For your convenience, we have also included information on our host hotels with special rates for our filmmakers and an Industry Registration Form.

Again, thank you for your entry. We appreciate your hard work and dedication and hope to see you at the Palm Springs International Festival of Short Films, September 16-22, 2003.

Sincerely,

Thomas Ethan Harris
