Dear Filmmaker,

first of all, sorry for informing you so late about the NoBudget selection! We had some technical problems here to solve. So we use the fastest way by email to let you know what happened with your film entry. We hope you understand the reason. Many thanks for entering your film for our NoBudget Competition this year. After two months of watching 1300 films, we are sorry to inform you that your work has not been selected for the 19th International Short Film Festival Hamburg (4.-9. 6. 2003).

Due to the large number of entries each year (this year we received over 3200 films), you will understand that we are not in the position to give individual reasons as to why films are selected or rejected.

Should we need your film for possible special screenings, we will be in contact with you.

Once again, thank you for your interest in our festival.
