The First Easter Bunny - Independent Film Festival of Boston

NOTE: We entered "We've Got Johnny" and an early work-in-progress edit of "The First Easter Bunny". Only 13 shorts were chosen. We didn't get in, but were offered a free pass. So that is practically an award, right? - AF Grant.

Dear AF,

The challenges of organizing a film festival are numerous, but no task has been as exhilarating and exhausting as the process of programming. We were overwhelmed this year by the filmmakers who felt drawn to our vision of seeking artistic, creative films. Over 600 submissions translated into hours of watching films that regardless of budget, format and cast, displayed the passion each filmmaker had for his or her art.

Both of your films display this passion and your knack for creative and humorous stories and we thank you for allowing us to consider your work. However, with a limited number of slots available, we unfortunately have to pass. This is not a reflection of the quality of your films, and we wish you the best of luck with these projects.

To thank you for submitting this year we invite you to attend the festival, May 1-4, with a complimentary pass that will grant you access into all film screenings and panel discussions. You may purchase an additional pass for a guest and tickets to attend the nightly parties at a discount.

YOU MUST RSVP TO BY FRIDAY APRIL 18. In your email include:
•Your name and title of your submitted film
•Name of person purchasing discounted pass (if applicable)
•Number of party tickets you wish to purchase (2 per night max)

We hope you will join us at the festival and will consider us for future work.

Best regards,

Jason Redmond Executive Director
Scott Moomaw Society Director
Adam Roffman Program Director
